An eye-catching Persica rose that can be appreciated at any time of the day, RSPB RazzleBEEdazzle!’s outstanding beauty, individuality and flair comes from the intense colour combination. As the young blooms open, they are the deepest rich golden-amber colour, with a dark red spot at the centre of every petal, its central yellow stamens spring the flowerhead to life, creating a stunning visual display.
The blooms have 10 to 15 petals, creating the perfect circular cup-shaped flower as they open. Not only do these petals have the physical power to form this geometric precision, the colours follow suit as the red eye and golden amber are also brilliantly precise in the circular pattern they create.
There is a delicate, musky scent. RSPB RazzleBEEdazzle! is so extravagant in its colourful display that it doesn’t need a lot of perfume to attract insects to pollinate. It is a delightful playground for birds, bees and butterflies.
“This rose is a stunner, but the fact it is great for wildlife and is grown in an environmentally-friendly way makes it an absolute winner.”
Adrian Thomas, The RSPB’s Wildlife gardening expert
The plant is strong and covered in many mid-green glossy leaves. The rose is a solid, and reliable plant, growing up to 100 cm tall and 85 cm wide. Provided the plant is well fed and old blooms are removed, the flowering period will continue well into the autumn and early winter. RSPB RazzleBEEdazzle! grows in full sun, or with sun for around half the day. This plant is happy when grown in beds and borders, and low growing hedges, while equally being at home in a large patio planter for those with less space on their hands.
RSPB RazzleBEEdazzle! is available to purchase at www.roses.co.uk by pre-order only, and will be delivered in Autumn as bareroot plants. Potted roses will be available in Spring 2026.
